MPS have been engaged to supply 117 vent head units that will be installed to the Royal Australian Navy’s ACPB fleet this coming year. We have been working closely with the fleet maintenance provider ‘Serco Defence’ for over a year now, to design, manufacture and test a prototype.
Manufacturing will commence immediatley with the first ship set due for delivery in early Feburary 2016.
Installation of the upgraded vent head will significantly reduce the amount of moisture laden air entering the vessels and in-turn decrease the amount of internal corrosion that the fleet has been encountering recently.
