DEFENCE

Since the beginning, defence work has formed a major part of MPS’ business. To date MPS has provided project management services for more than 25 maintenance activities across both the Navy’s Armidale Class Patrol Boat (ACPB) fleet and the Australian Border Force’s (ABF) Cape Class Patrol Boat (CCPB) fleet. These activities range from time critical service visits to annual refits and remediation periods taking place in Darwin, Cairns and Brisbane. Completing these activities on-board government owned assets, whilst adhering to strict DNVGL classification and Navy requirements has fine-tuned the way MPS manages and executes it projects.

To compliment the management services MPS has been providing, they are now providing design and manufacturing services for engineering upgrades to the ACPB fleet.

SUPERYACHT

Superyachts are the pinnacle of luxury afloat, and as such MPS take the upmost care when working on-board every vessel. Both MPS Directors have gained trade qualifications and experience from building and maintaining Superyachts and they understand the intricacies of working on a very expensive asset whilst meeting strict deadlines and budgets.

With MPS being based in one of Australia’s premier Superyacht refit facilities ‘Rivergate Marina and Shipyard’, they are attending to the needs of luxury vessels large and small.

MANUFACTURING

From design to production, MPS provide cost effective manufacturing in most materials. With access to industry experts including Naval Architects, Mechanical Engineers and Draftsman, they can bring your idea to life.
Most notably MPS won a contract to design, prototype and manufacture an entire fleet set of void ventilation heads to be fitted to the Navy’s Armidale Class Patrol Boats (ACPB). The MPS design will drastically decrease the amount of sea water and moisture laden air entering the vessel’s bilges, which in turn will decrease the amount of hull corrosion currently being experienced.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

With the MPS team encompassing a range of tradesman, they are able to attend to a vast array of equipment. Whether the repairs and maintenance are marine based or not, MPS takes pride in listening to its customer’s requirements and taking a holistic approach to providing repair and maintenance solutions.
