Pangaea Ocean Explorer

MPS have just finalised the commissioning of their latest project onboard ‘Pangaea Ocean Explorer’.

2 x new ‘Zenoro’ 200kw main generators that includes ‘Xeamos’ IMO Tier 3 compliant exhaust after treatment systems with DPF (Diesel Particulate filter) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction). We believe this is the first installation and commissioning of a system like this in Australia.

Also installed was new a 96kw emergency generator and new Hamann sewage treatment plant.

The vessel will be used for scientific research when the owner is not using the it for recreational cruising.
